Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Liga Combat, we are committed to ensuring you are satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines how we handle returns and exchanges, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
1. Change of Mind Returns
We understand that sometimes you might change your mind about a purchase. If you wish to return an item due to a change of mind, we offer exchanges or store credit provided the following conditions are met:
- Timeframe: You must contact us to initiate a return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Condition of Goods: Items must be in their original, saleable condition:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused.
- All original tags, labels, and any hygiene seals must be attached and intact.
- In its original packaging (if applicable).
- Proof of Purchase: You must provide a valid proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email, receipt).
- Exclusions: For hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged for a change of mind if their packaging has been opened or seals broken:
- Mouthguards
- Groin protectors
- Compression wear worn against the skin (e.g., rashguards, spats) if hygiene seals are broken or an item shows signs of wear.
- Socks
- Return Shipping: You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping for change of mind returns. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we are not liable for lost return parcels.
Outcome: For eligible change of mind returns, we will offer an exchange for another item or a store credit for the purchase price of the returned item(s). Refunds are generally not provided for change of mind returns, unless otherwise agreed by Liga Combat at our discretion. Any shipping costs paid on the original order are non-refundable.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items (Your Consumer Guarantees)
If you believe an item you have purchased from Liga Combat is faulty, damaged in transit, or not the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.
- Notification: Please contact our Customer Service team at [email protected] within a reasonable time of discovering the issue. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photographic evidence if possible.
- Assessment: We will assess your claim. We may require you to return the item to us for inspection. If the item is deemed to have a fault, be damaged, or be incorrect, we will cover the cost of reasonable return postage.
- Remedies for Faulty Goods:
- Major Failure: If the item has a major failure (as defined under the ACL, e.g., it is significantly different from the description, unsafe, or cannot be easily fixed within a reasonable time), you are entitled to choose between a refund, a replacement (if available), or compensation for any drop in value of the product.
- Minor Failure: If the item has a minor failure, we may choose to repair the item, offer you a replacement, or provide a refund.
- Incorrect Items: If you received an item different from what you ordered, we will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you. We will also provide instructions and cover the cost for returning the incorrect item.
- Proof of Purchase: Proof of purchase is required for all faulty, damaged, or incorrect item claims.
3. Exchanges
- General Exchanges: If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or colour (subject to our Change of Mind conditions in Section 1), please contact us to chek availability.
- Process: Once your return is received and approved under the Change of Mind conditions, we can process an exchange.
- Shipping for Exchanges: You will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. If the exchange is due to a change of mind, a re-shipping fee may apply for sending the new item to you. This will be advised at the time of the exchange request.
4. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact Us: Please email our Customer Service team at [email protected] with the following information:
Your full name
Order number
The item(s) you wish to return or exchange
The reason for the return/exchange (e.g., change of mind, faulty, incorrect size)
If faulty/damaged, please include clear photos of the issue. - Await Instructions: Our team will respond within 1-2 business days with further instructions, including the return address if applicable. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
- Package Your Return: Ensure the item is packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. Include your proof of purchase or order number with the return.
- Send: Ship the item back to the address provided using a trackable shipping method.
5. Processing Timeframes
- Once we receive your returned item(s), please allow 5-7 business days for us to inspect and process your return or exchange.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed back to your original payment method and may take an additional 3-5 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
- Store credits will be issued via email.
- Exchanges will be dispatched once the original item is received and processed, subject to stock availability.
6. Sale Items
Items purchased on sale are subject to the same rights under Australian Consumer Law if they are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly described. For change of mind returns on sale items, they will generally be eligible for a store credit or exchange only, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. Please check the specific terms of any sale promotion.
